The newly formed Friends of Old St. Paul's Cemetery is a project of nonprofit organizations and individuals dedicated to restoring, preserving, and sharing the rich history of Old St. Paul's Cemetery.  In partnership with local historical societies, Old St. Paul Church, and the University of Maryland, which surrounds the cemetery, the Friends organizations are committed to ensuring that the site is restored to its original beauty so that it can remain a place of dignity, remembrance, and learning for many years to come. The Maryland War of 1812 Society will coordinate the funding for this project.  Other organizations are coordinating other aspects of the project.
