Dear Friends, Cricket’s last days were gentle, safe, and wrapped in complete love here at Furever In Him. While we are heartbroken that she left us way too soon, we take comfort in knowing she knew peace in her final moments. We had planned to launch a fall fundraiser to build up our emergency reserves for crises just like Cricket's. When her illness struck in July we used just about everything we had to ensure her recovery. With her sudden passing this last weekend, we depleted what little funds were left and personal funds were immediately provided to ensure Cricket received every ounce of medical care she deserved. Today, you can give one last gift to Cricket. Your donation will directly help cover her final vet care and ER bills. Any funds raised beyond her bills will go straight into our emergency fund, lovingly named Abby’s Angels—honoring Cricket’s sweet sister, Abby, whom we lost this past March. This fund ensures we are always fully prepared for the next crisis. Although we are grieving, we are also preparing our hearts for the future when we will once again welcome senior animals into our home. If you want to provide long-term security for animals like Cricket and Abby, please consider becoming a monthly Faithful Companion. Your monthly gift ensures cozy beds and medical care for senior animals as well as critical respite care for senior citizens who need temporary help watching their beloved pets. Thank you for giving one last gift for Cricket and creating a soft place to land for those who come after her. With gratitude,Amanda Amanda JohnsonFounder & Executive Directorwww.fureverinhim.org
