Every child deserves to see themselves in a story. Since October 2000, Teens Reaching Teens, Inc. has helped North Texas youth find their voice through reading, writing and mentorship. For 21 years, our teens wrote and published Teen Graffiti magazine. Our Keepin’ It Real! Youth Empowerment Summits brought together more than 5,000 young people. In all, we’ve reached more than 10,000 youth. Today, our focus is closing the literacy gap. We bring diverse, age-appropriate books and reading experiences directly to students who need them most. Recently, we’ve delivered books to classrooms at Frank Guzick Elementary with SMU Cox School of Business MBA students, and at Adelle Turner Elementary through the Dallas Mavericks Business Assist program. When a child holds a book with a character who looks like them, something changes. They read more, dream bigger and believe in their own potential. Your gift puts books into children’s hands. Every $25 helps 3 children get a book of their own. Teens Reaching Teens, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 26-3347923). Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

One Story at a Time: Give Books, Build Readers
