The City and the VFW had an agreement in 1982 that the city would pay for the electricity and landscaping if the VFW wanted to establish a memroial monument. &nbsp;The VFW would be responsible for maintaining and repairs. &nbsp;After the failure of one of the solar/led lights we began inspecting the memorial to see what it would take to have the inground lighting repaired and discovered that there were several problem and safety issues that should be addressed. &nbsp;We are seeking funds to address the issues and upgrade the appearance of the monument while including recent conflicts to update the conflicts that our comrades have been asked to serve in protecting our country. &nbsp;Please ask a VFW Member if you have more questions regarding the update.
