Restoring Mobility. Sharing the Hope of Christ. For someone living with disabling joint pain, surgery can mean far more than a new hip or knee. It can mean returning to work, caring for family, walking to a neighbor&rsquo;s home, or moving through the day with greater independence. It can mean reclaiming parts of life that pain has slowly taken away. Operation Geaux exists to help make those possibilities a reality for people who otherwise have little access to this care. We are a Louisiana-based Christian nonprofit bringing volunteer surgical teams to underserved communities. Working alongside our partners at Anandaban Hospital in Nepal, we provide orthopaedic surgery at no charge to patients. We bring our skills, our time, and our hearts&mdash;with the conviction that the gifts God has entrusted to us are meant to serve others.&nbsp; During our 2026 mission, our team performed 10 knee replacements and other needed surgeries. We also returned to evaluate patients from the previous year, and four asked whether we could help with their other knee. Those requests remind us why returning matters: our mission is not simply to complete a week of surgery, but to build relationships and help meet a continuing need. Through our local partners, patients receive ongoing care after our team returns home.&nbsp; At the heart of this work is our desire to glorify God through compassionate, excellent care and to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ. We want every person we serve to know that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved. Our faith is the reason we go&mdash;not a requirement for those we help. We serve patients regardless of their religious beliefs.&nbsp; Your generosity helps turn a willingness to serve into care that reaches a patient. Donations help provide medical supplies, transport surgical equipment, and bring our volunteer team to the communities we serve.
