Blue and white text announcing "Operation Senior Cheer" and a call for donations sits atop a blurred background of colorful plaid blankets and snowflakes.

Share warmth, kindness, and the love of Christ with seniors this Christmas. For the third year, Lord of Life is supporting Operation Senior Cheer, bringing comfort and joy to seniors in Oakland County care facilities. Several volunteer organizations are working together to support 525 senior residents this Christmas. Your donation to Lord of Life helps purchase supplies for fleece tie blankets and other items on the residents’ wish lists. Your gift helps provide items such as:

Lap blankets and fleece material for tie blankets

Socks: grip socks preferred

Mini calendars: dollar store

Liquid hand soap and hand cream

Crossword puzzles and word searches

Mini flashlights and nightlights

Pens and pencils

Mini tissue packages

Please give during November to help us prepare these gifts for delivery before Christmas. Every contribution is a way to care for our neighbors with Christ-like compassion. Thank you for helping brighten the holiday season for seniors!
