A circular wooden plaque features an engraved image of three first responders—a firefighter, a police officer, and an EMT—standing before an American flag, with text around the border reading "DANIEL HIGH SCHOOL PATRIOT DAY STADIUM MARCH HONORING OUR FIRST RESPONDERS."

Honor and remembrance, one step at a time. The Patriot Day Memorial Stadium March aims to honor all first responders, past and present. On Friday Sept 11th, Daniel High School JROTC will lead a "DWD Remembers 9/11" event to honor the 2,977 victims. The stadium march will ceremonially start at 9:03am, symbolic of the time when the second tower was hit. Led by first responders from Six Mile, Central and Clemson, participants will be challenged to march six laps through the stadium to complete 2,977 steps. Your donation will help to provide a Commemorative Wooden Coin to the first 500 participants that complete the required number of laps around the stadium as well as supply hydration during the event. 🎖️ Please come out on September 11th to Daniel High School to show your support or complete the march at any time during the day from 9:03am to 3:30pm. Please contact Daniel High School JROTC instructors for more details at curthaase@pickens.k12.sc.us, and look for further communications through official Daniel High School media channels. Give in tribute to those who served and sacrificed.
