A stack of purple heart-patterned pajamas, a teddy bear, and toiletries sit in the foreground against a white and purple background featuring text for a "PAWS for Pajamas" donation drive.

Throughout October, Unleashed Pet-Assisted Wellness Support is collecting funds and essential items to support the people and families served by Casa de Esperanza emergency shelters. For many people entering emergency shelter situations, there is no time to gather belongings. They may leave home quickly with little or none of what they need. During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, this drive is one way our community can respond with practical support, comfort, dignity, and hope. 100% of your donation to PAwS for Pajamas will help purchase requested items in bulk.

During FY 2025–2026, Casa served 828 survivors of domestic violence and 330 survivors of sexual assault.

provided 7,031 shelter bed nights for survivors and their children.

answered 533 domestic violence support and information line calls.

provided legal advocacy to 101 survivors.

reached 2,995 community members through prevention education and outreach.

Comfort.
