Our PurposeAlcott&rsquo;s annual Pledge Drive, led by Friends of Alcott (FOA), is the school&rsquo;s single largest fundraiser and is critically important in helping Alcott&rsquo;s administration plan for the next academic year. Funding from CPS continues to fall short of covering the school&rsquo;s minimum operational and staffing needs. Funds from Alcott&rsquo;s Pledge Drive allow us to provide essential elements to support the growth, learning, and well-being of all students in PreK though 8th grade. Principal Karrel fully utilizes District funds and grants before utilizing FOA funds whenever possible, but without your help, we could not continue to provide exceptional education that aligns with our school&rsquo;s mission, vision, and values. The goal for this year&rsquo;s Pledge Drive is to raise $300,000. Your investment will fund enrichment programs, technology upgrades, curriculum, and instructional materials for next school year. We would love 100% participation from our parent community, with a suggested donation of $1,500 per child. Every pledge counts, and every dollar makes a difference in the educational experience of our children. Please note that the optional &ldquo;tip&rdquo; is directed to Zeffy&rsquo;s platform&mdash;not FOA. Kindly remove that option; there is also no need to cover the credit-card processing fees.
