The Pomfret School YES Club is a group of students partnering with YES DAY, a nonprofit that creates extraordinary moments of joy for children and young adults facing life’s toughest challenges through the power of YES. This year, our club will come alongside one child and their family in our local community who are living through some really hard things — and our goal is simple: bring them JOY.But this is about so much more than one special day. Throughout the school year, our YES Club will get to know our YES kid and their family, spending time together and doing the fun, normal things kids should get to do — bowling nights, pizza parties, ice cream runs, sporting events, or whatever makes them smile. We want them to feel like part of our Pomfret family and know they have an entire group of students in their corner. And then comes the BIG YES. As we get to know our YES kid, we’ll learn what they love, what makes them light up, and what they’ve always dreamed of doing. Then our club will raise the money and plan an unforgettable YES DAY built entirely around them — whether that means a sporting event, concert, show, theme park, adventure, or something we haven't even thought of yet. Every dollar donated to the Pomfret School YES Club helps us create these moments — from our time together throughout the year to the surprises and experiences that will make up their ultimate YES DAY. We may not be able to change the hard things a child is facing. But we CAN change how they feel in the middle of them. And sometimes, a little joy can change everything. Thank you for helping the Pomfret School YES Club say YES. 💙Everyone Deserves a YES. Please note: Zeffy may suggest an optional contribution to support their platform at checkout. This is not a fee and is not required. This money does not go to YES DAY. To donate only to YES DAY, simply select “Other” and enter “$0” for the Zeffy contribution.
