Four young men stand around a solar-powered car with its hood open, revealing a smiling child inside, in a workshop setting.

Help Power Seattle to Australia ☀️🏎️ We’re the Seattle Solar Car Team, a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit with one ambitious goal: build a solar-powered race car and take it from Seattle to the 2027 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australia. This is more than a race. It’s a chance for students to design, build, test, and compete with technology that could help shape the future of transportation. Right now, our team is hard at work turning an idea into a real car. We’re developing the mechanical and electrical systems, building composite components, running simulations, and testing every part of our design. There is still a long road ahead, and we need your help to get there. Your donation directly helps us build and race. Every contribution supports materials, manufacturing, electronics, testing, transportation, and the costs of bringing our car to Australia. Whether you give $10, $50, or $500, you’re helping students take on an international engineering challenge that would not be possible without our community behind us. Help us build the car. Help us get to Australia. Help us chase the sun. ☀️🏎️ Thank you for supporting the Seattle Solar Car Team.
