Every volunteer who visits a family's home, every diaper we deliver, every meal we bring, it all depends on trust. To keep that trust safe for everyone involved, we need two things: liability insurance to protect our volunteers and our organization, and background screening so families can feel confident about who's coming through their door. This isn't glamorous. It won't show up as a warm photo on our page, but it's the foundation on which everything else is built, and right now, it's the one thing standing between us and safely growing our Support Companion program to serve more families across south-central Kansas.
