ROW to Recovery at the Head of the Charles Regatta!This October, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Recovery on Water (ROW) is racing in the Survivor Row at the Head of the Charles Regatta&mdash;joining 15 boats and over 130 cancer survivors from across the country to show the world that movement is medicine.ROW is more than a rowing team. It&rsquo;s a lifeline. As a breast cancer survivor, I can say that with my whole heart. Cancer transformed every part of my life&mdash;physically, mentally, emotionally, economically, and socially.&nbsp;But being in the boat changes everything.Rowing with my teammates gives me a quality of life I truly don&rsquo;t think I&rsquo;d have otherwise. My doctors are thrilled I row&mdash;they say it&rsquo;s helping prevent further decline. And emotionally, being part of this team has lifted me in ways nothing else has. It gives me purpose, strength, and joy.I never miss a practice unless I&rsquo;m ill.
