This year, Randie&rsquo;s 66th birthday fundraiser&nbsp;comes at an especially important time for Cows Come Home Sanctuary. Along with the ongoing cost of hay for our bovine besties, the sanctuary is facing unexpected expenses from a failed hay baler that needs repair. On top of that, Rick, one of Cows Come Home&rsquo;s founders, recently broke his leg and is unable to do the physical work he normally handles every day, including feeding the cows, maintaining fencing, and keeping up with the many hands-on needs of the sanctuary. &nbsp;Because of this, we are having to pay for additional help to keep the cows cared for, fed, and safe while Rick recovers.
