This year, Randie&rsquo;s 66th birthday fundraiser&nbsp;comes at an especially important time for Cows Come Home Sanctuary. Along with the ongoing cost of hay for our bovine besties, the sanctuary is facing unexpected expenses from a failed hay baler that needs repair. On top of that, Rick, one of Cows Come Home&rsquo;s founders, recently broke his leg and is unable to do the physical work he normally handles every day, including feeding the cows, maintaining fencing, and keeping up with the many hands-on needs of the sanctuary. &nbsp;Because of this, we are having to pay for additional help to keep the cows cared for, fed, and safe while Rick recovers. To help meet this need, our generous friend and local chef Heidi&nbsp;has offered to create a special plant-based cooking experience in honor of Randie&rsquo;s 66th birthday.
