After a long hiatus, he returned to the sacred dances in the 1940s, which resulted in the creation of the 39 Series. While the music for the early dances was composed between the two men together, the music for the dances from the 1940s was composed by Thomas de Hartmann on his own, after Gurdjieff died. After a long hiatus, he returned to the sacred dances in the 1940s, which resulted in the creation of the 39 Series. While the music for the early dances was composed between the two men together, the music for the dances from the 1940s was composed by Thomas de Hartmann on his own, after Gurdjieff died.
