It's time to replace our fence along the front road, and some of the older fencing along the woods.    When we purchased the site, we triaged and prioritized our projects.   The fence was old, but manageable. Over time, the aging boards have deteriorated and while we have made many repairs and held painting parties, the fence is starting to really show its age.  With the ice storm and heavy winds at the sanctuary in mid-February, trees and tree limbs came down, as we lost part of the fence along the roadside as well as some of the older fencing next to the woods.  We repaired it with a few boards so that it is safe for now, and we are at the point where we really need to replace this older original fence.  We put the fence replacement out to bid to multiple parties, and believe we have a good solution that will be lower maintenance for the sanctuary.    While supplies last, we will place your name on a tag on the fencepost if you donate at least $100.  Can you help us raise funds to replace the fence?
