Our nonprofit, The Springfield Fellowship Club exists for one purpose:
to provide a safe, stable, and welcoming space for individuals seeking peer‑led
recovery support. For decades, our building has served as a vital gathering
place where people come together to share experience, strength, and hope on

that mission is at risk. Our insurance provider has informed us that our roof
must be fully replaced by December 31, 2026. If the roof is not replaced by
that deadline, we will lose our coverage &mdash; and without insurance, we will be
forced to close our doors.<p fr-original-style="margin:0in;font-family:Arial;font-size:11.0pt;color:#222222" style="margin: 0in; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; color: rgb(34, 34, 34); width: 100%; line-height: 1.5; box-sizing: inherit;"> <p fr-original-style="margin:0in;font-family:Arial;font-size:11.0pt;color:#222222" style="margin: 0in; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; color: rgb(34, 34, 34); width: 100%; line-height: 1.5; box-sizing: inherit;">To protect this space, we have launched a fundraising goal of $5,775 to add to other cash received so far, as well as the $5,000 we&#39;ve received from a community grant, and we are committed to using every dollar responsibly. As part of that stewardship, during our due diligence process, we obtained several estimates. After careful review, we selected a professional roofing contractor who provided a comprehensive estimate of approximately $12,875. &nbsp;This bid also factors replacing damaged decking and includes a small contingency for possible unknowns during the project, as well as tax-exempt materials. In addition, we prioritized safety as well as ensured there are no conflicts of interest.&nbsp; The building we maintain is modest, but the work that happens inside it
changes lives. Many people rely on this space each year as a consistent,
judgment‑free environment where recovery groups can meet
daily.
