Support RISO FUTURES! We&#39;re launching RISO FUTURES&mdash;a 15-week production residency and exhibition program supporting five artists as they create ambitious, experimental, and collaborative new work using Risograph printing. Throughout the residency, artists will work side by side at Looky Here, participating in workshops with nationally recognized visiting artists, developing new technical skills, collaborating on a collective publication, and producing work for a culminating public exhibition. Each resident will receive a $1,000 artist stipend and more than $4,500 worth of studio access, materials, equipment, and professional instruction. By providing sustained access to our Risograph printer and materials, as well as financial support, mentorship, and a collaborative creative community, Riso Futures program gives artists the freedom to experiment, take risks, and realize projects that would otherwise be out of reach. The residency will culminate in a public exhibition at Looky Here and the publication of a collaborative, limited-edition Risograph book distributed through Looky Here Press, bringing the artists&#39; work to audiences far beyond Western Massachusetts.Thanks to generous support from the Andy Warhol Foundation, Buddy Taub Foundation, Greenfield Savings Bank, Greenfield Cooperative Bank, Massachusetts Cultural Council, Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts, and individual donors Liz Tonne and Rob Forman, we have built a strong foundation for this inaugural residency.
