🌟 ROBERTS WALK - How do you make change with no money? This is how. 🌟At Deer Park, WA Memorial Post 3067, we know that change starts with people like you. As most of you know I&#39;m trying to raise money for a Veteran&#39;s Memorial Park, right here in Deer Park! While Doug Knight from Knights Construction stepped up and said he would pay for the entire thing. I thought it would be better to get more of a community relationship going with our Veterans/Active Duty if we all chipped in! I have found a way. ROBERTS WALK. I will be out every day with an American Flag around Deer Park (give me a honk or shout). Until September 11. On September 11, 2026, I will start walking (with the flag) from the Deer Park VFW to Washington DC. All to help raise funds for a Veterans Memorial Park and for our local VFW. This is more than just a walk. &nbsp;This is to prove to others and myself no matter what you can make change! I have had multiple spinal surgeries, I have had a stroke, and I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. This being said, there will be no time limit to walk to DC. We estimate it will take 90-120 days or more to complete this walk for me. We are looking for sponsors.
