Help Us Reach Our $5,000 Goal — 20 Years of Giving Back to Richmond! 20th Annual Richmond SOL Thanksgiving Food & Clothes DriveFor the past 19 years, Richmond SOL has proudly brought our community together to support families and individuals in need. This Thanksgiving, as we celebrate our 20th Annual Food & Clothes Drive, we are asking for your help to make an even greater impact. This year, we're doing things a little differently.Instead of relying solely on food and clothing donations, our goal is to raise $5,000 throughout November to purchase groceries and prepare 300 bags of essential food items for families in our Richmond community. We recognize that many of our neighbors are facing especially difficult times. With the ongoing uncertainty and challenges affecting our community, some families are unable to work or provide for their loved ones as they normally would. Now more than ever, we want to come together to remind them that they are not alone. Your donation will help us continue a 20-year tradition of giving back.On Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, our organization will provide:

300 Grocery Bags: Filled with essential food items to help families put food on their tables.

Free Clothing: Gently used clothing for children, adults, and families in need.

Free Hot Meals: A warm meal so everyone can leave with a full stomach.

Free Haircuts: Local barbers and hairstylists generously volunteering their time to serve our community.

Every dollar makes a difference.Whether you can donate $5, $10, $25, $50, or more, your generosity will help us get closer to our goal. No contribution is too small, and every donation is deeply appreciated. We also welcome local businesses and organizations interested in making a larger contribution. For donations of $500 or more, please contact our organization's president via text at (510) 812-1903 to discuss sponsorship opportunities. For 20 years, this event has been about more than food and clothing. It has been about compassion, unity, dignity, and neighbors helping neighbors. Richmond is stronger when we stand together. With your support, we can reach our $5,000 fundraising goal, prepare 300 grocery bags, and make this Thanksgiving a little brighter for families who need it most. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in our mission and helping us continue this tradition. Together, let's make our 20th year of giving back our most impactful one yet! With gratitude,Richmond SOL Youth ProgramsServing our Richmond community for 20 years.
