As we approach Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, many families in Lee County are facing unprecedented uncertainty. With ongoing instability in SNAP benefits and government support, the need for food assistance has grown dramatically—and CUOC is committed to meeting that need with compassion and urgency. We are excited to share an incredible opportunity: a generous donor, Ruby and Ernest McSwain Worthy Lands Trust, has offered a $50,000 matching grant to help us purchase much-needed food for our neighbors during this critical season. That means every dollar you give will be doubled, providing twice the meals, twice the hope, and twice the impact. But we need your help to unlock the full potential of this match.Your gift today will help us:

Stock our shelves with nutritious food for families struggling to make ends meet.

Provide holiday meal boxes so no child or senior goes without them during Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Offer stability and dignity to those hit hardest by economic uncertainty.

Together, we can ensure that no one in our community goes hungry this holiday season. Please consider making a special gift today to help us meet—and exceed—this $50,000 match. Your generosity will bring warmth, nourishment, and hope to hundreds of families right here in Lee County.Give now and double your impact.
