🐶 Lucie came to me today in heartbreaking condition — a senior girl, around 10 years old, with a severely broken pelvis, advanced arthritis, and kidney disease. She was in obvious pain, unable to stand, and had no one to advocate for her. So I stepped in. Lucie is now safe at the vet, finally getting the medical care she has needed for far too long. Her X‑rays show a significant pelvic fracture, and her arthritis is worst on the side she would normally use to compensate — making movement nearly impossible for her. On top of that, she’s battling kidney disease, which means her treatment must be handled carefully and compassionately. The good news: the vet believes Lucie can heal. But her road to recovery will be long, delicate, and expensive. This fundraiser will help cover: • Emergency veterinary care• Pain management and supportive treatments• Specialized care for her kidney disease• Follow‑up X‑rays and ongoing monitoring• Comfort items, mobility support, and safe recovery housing Lucie didn’t choose any of this — but she deserves every chance to heal without suffering. If you feel moved to help this sweet girl get the care she needs, your donation will go directly toward her medical treatment and recovery. Thank you for showing Lucie that her life matters.
