A teal hand silhouette containing a white globe sits in the foreground against a lime green background with the text "WE STAND 4 SOMETHING".

We need your help to save The Friday Feast this year. The Friday Feast started back in 2013 in a small rec room in Felton. The idea was simple. We wanted people with disabilities to have somewhere to go during the holiday season where they could enjoy a good meal, be around people who care and feel included.Because the truth is, not everyone gets to come home for the holidays. We’ve kept The Friday Feast going all these years because we know how much it means to the people who attend. But this year, we just haven’t gotten enough support to make it happen. We do want to thank the members who have stepped up and put in the effort to help. It has not gone unnoticed. We just don’t have enough support organizationally or financially to pull this off the way we have in the past.My wife cooks and donates the food, and over the years we’ve also used our own money and resources to fill in the gaps. We’ve always found a way, but we can’t continue to do the majority of it ourselves. So before we say The Friday Feast isn’t happening this year, we’re asking our community to come together and help us save it.If you can donate, we would greatly appreciate your support. If you can’t donate, please share this fundraiser. Maybe you know a business, organization or someone else who would be willing to support The Friday Feast. We’re not giving up on The Friday Feast, and if we can’t make it happen this year, we will work toward bringing it back next year. But we’re not ready to give up on this year just yet.Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays. Let’s make sure they still have a place where they know they’re thought of.
