Your gift to the Saving Our Children Child Care Scholarship Fund helps parents stay employed and children remain in safe, quality care. ❤️ For many families, one unexpected expense, a delayed subsidy approval, or a temporary financial hardship can put their child care at risk. When child care is lost, parents may miss work, lose income, withdraw from school, or even lose their jobs. The Saving Our Children Child Care Scholarship Fund provides temporary child care assistance to eligible low-income families throughout the St. Louis region who are: • Working or starting a new job • Attending school or workforce training • Waiting for child care subsidy approval • Experiencing a temporary financial hardship How your donation helps: 💙 $65 helps cover a family’s child care copayment. 💙 $300 provides approximately one week of quality child care. 💙 $600 helps keep a parent employed during a temporary financial crisis. 💙 $1,200 provides approximately one month of child care assistance for a child in need. Families complete an application, income and eligibility are verified, and assistance is awarded based on need and available funding. Whenever possible, payments are made directly to licensed child care providers. Together, we can remove barriers to employment, strengthen families, and ensure children have access to safe, nurturing care while their parents work toward a brighter future.
