Kids’ needs don’t end on the first day of school. School representatives on our board and the schools we partner with across Ohio County keep telling us the same thing: a lot of kids are still going without the basics. Some have no book bag. Some run out of notebooks and pencils by October. Others go without toothpaste, deodorant, or soap. East Wheeling Cooperative is running this drive year-round to keep supplies moving to those students. We’ve already donated book bags and supplies, and we’ll keep doing so. Your gift helps us do more.Your donation helps provide:

Book bags, notebooks, pencils, pens, folders, and other school supplies

Toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, shampoo, and feminine products

Donations also support our wider Community Outreach work, including the East Wheeling Clothing Closet, the Back to School Bash, our Youth Program, and our Re-Entry Program. Why we use Zeffy: Zeffy doesn’t charge nonprofits fees, so your full donation goes to the program. At checkout, Zeffy will ask whether you want to leave an optional tip to support their platform. That tip is up to you, and you can set it to $0. Want to donate supplies instead? Send us a message on Facebook or Instagram, or call 304-602-3282, and we’ll set up a time and place to collect them. You’ll get an emailed receipt for your donation.
