Charlotte Grapplers is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization led by 100% volunteer board of directors and volunteer coaches. Our goal is to teach children the basics of folkstyle wrestling, and teach children the self-discipline, strong work ethic, and physical fitness that comes with wrestling. We teach wrestling to kids as young as four (4), and continue with them right up until they move on to middle school and high school wrestling teams. We are not associated with any school district, although we do rent practice facilities from the Charlotte Public Schools, so we welcome all kids who want to join our club regardless of what school they go to (or home schooled too!) Our season typically runs from November through April of the following year which covers all MYWAY Central region tournaments, MYWAY State Tournament as well as NUWAY Nationals in April.

Our program is a steppingstone for the Charlotte High School Wrestling Program. Our goal is to keep our enrollment fees as low as possible to allow every child who wants to wrestle the opportunity to do so without financial barriers. To accomplish this goal, we rely on fundraisers and local business support. You can be assured that every dollar we collect goes directly back into our program to support the children in our program.&nbsp;$120 sponsor fee is enough to send 6 wrestlers to a single tournament. $150 sponsor fee gets your business logo added to our club t-shirt for advertisement. $250 or more sponsor fee gets your business logo added to our club t-shirt and our club banner for advertisement. $500 sponsor fee upgrades to a premier business logo. Club shirts are worn by wrestlers and families at tournaments, practices and community events. Our club averages 60 youth wrestlers each year, and overall enrollment has been on a growth trajectory over the last two years. We attend tournaments that run January through March with 600 - 1000 kids and their families attending each tournament - ensuring plenty of exposure for our sponsors.&nbsp;&nbsp;Additionally, our Charlotte Grapplers website (www.charlottegrapplers.com) is a one-stop hub for information about our club.
