A thin brown horse stands in a dusty enclosure, eating from a bucket, with a metal fence and trees in the background.

The Phoenix Project 🐎The Phoenix Project is JD Farming Horse Rescue’s $10,000 fundraising goal to help give horses safety, care, and a real second chance.Phoenix is the very first horse to receive help through this program. She came to us severely underweight and needing a chance to recover. In her honor, we named this effort The Phoenix Project. Her journey is where this project begins, but the goal is much bigger: to help Phoenix recover and continue helping horses who need us after her.Our Mission 🐎At JD Farming Horse Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit horse rescue, we give horses a second chance when they need it most. Some arrive neglected. Some are misunderstood. Some were simply out of options. Every horse that comes through our gate gets the same thing: time, patience, care, and a real chance at a better life.We don't rush them or expect trust overnight. We work with each horse at their own pace, rebuilding trust and confidence through patient, hands-on care and training. Our goal is to help them become healthy, confident, and ready for the right home whenever possible. Horses that cannot be safely rehomed can have a place with us.This work happens every day. Donations help provide:🐴 Feed and daily care ❤️ Veterinary care and recovery needs 🚚 Hauling and transportation 🤠 Training and rehabilitation 🏡 Continued care while each horse prepares for what's nextEvery one-time or monthly donation helps us keep doing that work.Become Part of the Rescue 💞Monthly supporters help give our rescue something especially valuable: consistent support we can count on while caring for the horses. As a thank-you, our supporters can also receive access to:📖 Horse Care Field Guide — our educational horse-care resource with practical information for horse owners and anyone wanting to learn more about horses.🎮 JD's Lil Ranch — our little ranch game, created as a fun way to stay connected with the rescue. These are our way of giving something back while your support helps us do the work that matters most.Phoenix may be the first horse helped through The Phoenix Project, but we hope she is only the beginning.Thank you for helping us give horses another chance. 🐎❤️
