Before She Leaves Mississippi, I Want Us to Give Beverly One Night She Will Never ForgetThere are some people whose names become so intertwined with a movement that it is almost impossible to tell the story without them.For more than four decades, Dr. Beverly McMillan has been one of those people.Many of you reading this did not simply hear about Beverly&#39;s work.You were there.You stood beside her.You watched her walk into rooms where the conversation was difficult. You watched her remain when others walked away.
