This olive harvest season, activists from Austin will travel to the West Bank to stand in solidarity with Palestinian communities facing attacks, intimidation, land seizures, and violence by settlers. Austin 2 Palestine has formed two groups so far: a structured delegation and a less-structured volunteer opportunity with the Palestinian grassroots organization Faz3a; this donation campaign specifically supports Faz3a. Eyewitness Palestine has a separate donation link. While Faz3a welcomes international volunteers year round, there is a particular need&nbsp;in October during the olive harvest, when Palestinian farmers and communities in vulnerable areas can face heightened settler attacks and intimidation. Being there is one way we can turn solidarity into action: standing alongside Palestinian communities, helping provide a protective presence, documenting what we witness, and amplifying their voices.Your donation helps make this possible by helping cover the costs of getting Austin activists to Palestine and enabling them to participate in this solidarity work on the ground. So far, we&rsquo;ve been able to recruit 28 courageous individuals from Austin, and we&rsquo;re aiming to get 100 activists to meaningful solidarity opportunities in Palestine by the end of 2027.
