Each year GAIT, Inc. attends Horse World Expo as a vendor. This event becomes one of the largest fundraisers we have annually and being able to arrive to the event with costs covered means all proceeds of the event can be used toward the care of the horses at GAIT when funds are needed the most. The goals of attending Horse World Expo include: 1. Direct fundraiser through the collection of donations, daily give-aways, sale of T-Shirts and other GAIT logo&#39;d items like plushies 2. Create awareness of the rescue and the rescue&#39;s actvities. 3. Education about gaited horses in general. This includes talking to folks about proper training techniques, horse care, the versatile uses of gaited horses in the mainstream equestrian world, etc. All aimed at keeping good horses in their homes and creating an expanded market for the gaited horse in general. Some of the expenses included in this fundraiser are: Booth Rent, which includes 1 stall in the barn and show floor $475Barn stalls for GAIT, Inc. owned demo horses $175ea Bedding for GAIT, Inc. as needed Electric for the booth $135 so that we can show slideshows&nbsp; Parking Passes for GAIT, Inc. volunteers $35 ea Give-away items and T-shirts $3000 If there are any unused funds from this campaign, they will go directly towards the general expenses of caring for GAIT, Inc. horses.
