Columbia's city-wide high school robotics team, Army Ants, has qualified for the World Championship tournament in Houston, April 16 - 19, 2025.  We're raising money to help defray the approximate $12,000 cost of entering the tournament and transporting the whole team (28 students), our robot and equipment to Houston. We do fundraisers year round, including our underwater robotics camp, AntBot camp and write many grant applications, but making it to the World Championship tournament was unexpected! <img src="https://res.cloudinary.com/hxn9dbuhd/image/upload/v1743890767/wysiwyg/e0xoefqctnngpjyt5bvn.jpg" style="width:281px;display:inline-block;vertical-align:bottom;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;text-align:center;padding:0px 1px;max-width:100%" />Our community has been SO supportive in the past and we are very proud to represent Columbia on the world stage! We are asking you to donate just a bit to help us get there. Thank you for whatever amount you can donate. Columbia Educational Robotics Foundation is our 501(c)3 booster organization that manages the finances of the team. CERF also supports many other school-based and community-based FIRST robotics teams in Columbia. In 2024-25 there are 16 FIRST robotics teams in Columbia supported in some way by CERF. Alternatively, we can also take Venmo. Search for @ArmyAnts  and the name that comes up is Columbia Educational Robotics Foundation.
