A cartoon shark and bold text for "Shark Coin Wars" are set against an underwater background with coral and bubbles.

Shark Wars is a fundraiser where the 5th and 6th grade Shark Teams compete against each other to earn the most points. Students bring in cash and pennies to place in their team Treasure Chests for positive points and silver coins and online donations through the Shark Wars Zeffy store to decrease the amount of points in other teams' chests. Of course, in the end, everyone wins as the proceeds will be for various incentives and fun things for all the students throughout the year!! The monies in each chest will be counted and tallied each day (along with any Zeffy donations until 1pm that day, anything after 1pm will be counted for the following day) and updates will be posted to our St. James Intermediate PTA Facebook page and announced at school. Collection chests will be in the Lunch Room each day during lunch hours only of 10:15 am to 1:15 pm.
