At Shining His Light, we exist for one purpose:&nbsp;to go after the one&mdash;the child who has never known Jesus,&nbsp;and the child who once knew Him but has wandered away. Every program we offer, every experience we create, every moment we design is built around reaching that one child with the truth that they are chosen, loved, and never alone. We do this through immersive, joy-filled, faith-centered experiences that speak directly to the hearts of children, teens, and families. Through our partnership with Chosen Footsteps LLC, we bring faith-based immersive experiences to children across Brazoria County &mdash; experiences that help them learn through their five senses, explore biblical truths, and feel God&rsquo;s love in a way that is gentle, safe, and unforgettable. And at the center of our mission is LUMI &mdash; the symbol of the one. LUMI represents the child we are called to reach: the one who needs hope, the one who needs love, the one who needs Jesus. Every time a child meets LUMI, they are reminded that God sees them, knows them, and delights in them. Children also meet SHINE, the joyful character from Chosen Footsteps LLC, who reminds them that once God&rsquo;s light reaches them, they are called to shine His light wherever they go. SHINE helps children understand that they are not only loved &mdash; they are chosen to carry that love forward. Together, LUMI and SHINE help children grasp the heart of our mission: God&nbsp;shines His light on us, and we shine it forward.
