Song Keepers is a Philadelphia-based nonprofit dedicated to the healing and sacred power of music. We bring song into the places where it is needed most &mdash; bedsides of the sick and suffering, psychiatric wards, correctional facilities, and community gatherings &mdash; believing that music is not entertainment but medicine, not performance but presence. We gather people around kirtan, mantra, and devotional song. We train and support song keepers &mdash; people willing to carry music across thresholds into spaces of illness, isolation, and transformation. And we create space for communities to remember, together, what it means to be held by sound. Song Keepers was founded in Philadelphia in 2026. We are a registered Pennsylvania nonprofit currently seeking 501(c)(3) federal recognition.
