AGORA&rsquo;s inaugural International Servant Leadership Mission is to build homes in Peru this summer! <a fr-original-style="" href="http://www.agoraldp.com" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: initial; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">AGORA</a> is a youth leadership development program rooted in the belief that leadership is a verb&nbsp;and that the highest form of leadership is Servant Leadership. Year-round, AGORA takes action by serving our local communities, with a goal of providing impactful servitude abroad each summer. This summer, we are partnering with <a fr-original-style="" href="https://us.techo.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: initial; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">TECHO</a>, a youth-led nonprofit that serves underprivileged areas across Latin America and the Caribbean. Together, we will help build two permanent homes for families currently living below the local poverty line, many of whom sleep in temporary shelters without access to potable water or electricity. Our goal is to raise funding for a crew of 24 people to travel with the AGORA in July of 2026. With the cost of $3,500 per person we are looking at a total of $84,000. These funds will cover in-country travel, lodging, meals, materials, and direct support for the housing builds. Every contribution, large or small, makes a meaningful impact.
