Since we cannot stop every act of violence after it happens, we can start creating the conversations, opportunities, and relationships that help prevent the next one. Start the Peace is a St. Louis-rooted movie, soundtrack, and community campaign led by KyJuan and Grammy Award-winning artist Murphy Lee. Through music, film, culture and community action, the campaign will tell meaningful stories about decisions and consequences while introducing young people to the real careers that make entertainment possible - including writing, acting, directing, camera operation, lighting, sound, editing, producing, wardrobe, makeup and production support.
