This project will add approximately 10 feet of new cabinets and counter space along the right wall, giving the studio a cleaner, more organized, and more functional setup for everyday use and special events. Unlike the member locker cabinets on the opposite wall, these cabinets do not need to be lockable. Instead, they will provide general storage for studio supplies, serving items, workshop materials, and other equipment that needs to be kept accessible but out of the way. The countertop will also serve an important second purpose: providing a dedicated area for food, refreshments, and lunches during workshops, meetings, receptions, and Guild events. This will help keep food service organized and separate from art-making surfaces, making the studio more comfortable and professional when we welcome instructors, students, members, and guests. A gift toward this project helps us replace temporary arrangements with permanent, attractive storage and counter space that supports both the creative and hospitality sides of Studio in the Park.
