The Promise Zone Research Connection (PZRC) is a community-led initiative working to ensure that research in West Philadelphia is ethical, transparent, and truly benefits the people it impacts. For too long, communities have been subjects of research without seeing the results or reaping the benefits. We’re changing that. Through initiatives like West Philly Research Day, we bring together residents, community-based organizations, and researchers to build trust, share knowledge in accessible ways, and create partnerships rooted in equity and respect. Your support helps us continue creating spaces where community voices are centered and research is done with the community—not just on it.
