This donation greatly helps soldiers and loved ones grow stronger.&nbsp; I also want to share with you a bit about our first reunion and docuseries screening held on May 16 near Fort Hood, TX. We chose May on purpose, as we lost 14 of the 18 Soldiers we would lose in OIF 06&ndash;08 during May 2007. For the last 19 years, May has been a &ldquo;dark&rdquo; month for our troopers. When it rolls around on the calendar, the social media posts start up, and they reflect the trauma and pain the guys experienced. That pain hasn&rsquo;t gone away, but we took a big step forward in May toward turning that trauma into growth.Our goal was to have 100 attendees (troopers and family) at the event, and we had 142 show up, including several Gold Star Families. Troopers flew in from as far away as Alaska and China &mdash; yes, one flew in from Shanghai after only hearing about the event two weeks prior. We now have a growing list of veterans who want to contribute and help their fellow troopers. I am regularly amazed at how those who gave the most continue to be those who give the most.&nbsp; If you would like to contribute further to our cause, spread the word about our mission!
