📅 Giving Tuesday: A Chance to Double Your Impact!🐾 Help Ferallife Guards Secure a Permanent Home for the Cats 🐾This Giving Tuesday, your donation can go twice as far thanks to a generous anonymous donor who will match all donations up to $5,000! That creates a challenging goal of $10,000 and we think we can reach it&mdash; but only if we come together today.💔 What&rsquo;s at Stake:You may not have heard the full story because we have focused so much on the cats and kittens we saved, but the devastating Sandy Creek floods in July changed everything for us. We were just days away from moving our entire operation to a new property in Sandy Creek&nbsp;when disaster struck. The bridge to our new site was damaged by the flood, our plans were washed away, and Ferallife Guards suddenly found ourselves without a permanent home AGAIN&nbsp;&mdash; even as we worked tirelessly to rescue dozens of cats displaced by the floods.🏠 Where We Are Now:We&rsquo;ve been operating out of a temporary space, and our landlord &mdash; who originally asked us to vacate &mdash; has been incredibly patient. But this isn&rsquo;t sustainable. We urgently need to secure a permanent location to continue our mission and expand our impact. We are still trying to find a solution to get moved to the location we planned to move to before the flood but in the meantime cats still need us!!Despite all odds, we&#39;ve stayed the course. In 2025 alone, we&rsquo;ve already spayed/neutered 276 cats through our TNR Spay Neuter Clnic and our volunteer vets have performed 8 major surgeries that include leg amputations, enucleations (eye removal), tail amputations and more! We have helped countless others through our adoption, rescue, and medical efforts.✨ Why It Matters:We&rsquo;re not just another cat rescue. We&rsquo;re the safety net for feral and forgotten cats &mdash; like the ones stranded in flood zones, or the ones shelters turn away because they don&rsquo;t fit into neat categories. Ferallife Guards is often the last hope. Like Boots who had his leg amputation in our last spay neuter clinic that we just hosted last weekend. He was a feral barn kitten take to the emergency hospital by his owner to be euthanized after he got his leg stuck in a chair in the barn. Our team performed his leg amputation at our clinic, fostered him through recovery and he has an adopter that he will go home with THIS WEEKEND!
