In the quiet remote mountains of San Diego, CA lies the quaint town of Julian. This unincorporated town, and the broader-connected community and reservations: Mesa Grande Santa Ysabel, Ranchta, Warner Borrego Springs, Shelter Valley, and Butterfield (a mobile home park in the high dessert). This also makes up the school district, and the population of children we serve.&nbsp; Currently we provide a number of different programs serving the youth: digital art, flag football, jewelry making, business entrepeurship, lyfe coaching, management skills training, community service experience, college application assistance, teen/pre teen clubs, podcast &amp; music engineering, and others - with plans to do more; for a population with over half in the lower economic brackets.The irony is that living in an unincorporated area the funding to the community, and non-profits like free Thought Revolution are less than the community, and kids deserve. Our dream, and mission is to create a infrastructure that would allow us to continue the programs with an expanded reach, establish other programs to the benefit of the youth and community at large, complete and build a home sanctuary for youth needing a space to reset, and flourish.The financial support we are asking will provide the small items to keep our volunteer-led organization continue, such as insurance and program supplies - that will create large long lasting benefits to the youth we are able to impact with your support.
