We walked into three hoarder houses where cats had been forgotten, stepped up for seniors who could no longer care for their beloved companions, and spent countless hours working with street cats and managing colonies. There were late-night traps, emergency vet runs, bottle babies who needed us every few hours, and fragile little lives depending on us to show up.And our village&mdash;you&mdash;made every rescue possible. Every life we touched this year tells a story. Cats like Maddie, who watched us with those big worried eyes before finally trusting us; Big Daddy Blackberry, whose tough exterior melted into purrs; Nugget, small but mighty; Genesis, who survived against all odds; Merlin and Ash, who reminded us that magic still exists; and the moms with their babies who now know warmth and safety. And we can&rsquo;t forget Tiny and his brother Ivory&mdash;two sweet boys who landed on death row at the shelter with no time left. Our community rallied, doors opened, and hearts made space. Now they&rsquo;re alive, safe, and cherished, all because our village refused to give up on them. Each of these cats&mdash;and so many more&mdash;would have suffered, and some would not have made it, without the JC Catwatch Village. I am so deeply grateful&nbsp;for everyone who showed up this year: the volunteers who trap at crazy hours, and who bottle-feed at 3 a.m., drive across NJ for vet appointments, share our posts, donate supplies, foster with open hearts, and believe in every cat&rsquo;s right to safety and care. You carried these animals. You carried JC CATWATCH. And to our supporters&mdash;whether you gave time, love, food, funds, or simply shared a kind message&mdash;you kept us going when the work became heavy. You brought joy and hope to so many cat-loving hearts. At JC CATWATCH INC, we believe lasting change begins with people like you. Giving Tuesday is a global movement of generosity, a day when millions come together across North America to support the causes that matter most. It&rsquo;s because of days like this&mdash;and people like you&mdash;that small grassroots rescues like ours can keep saving lives, one whiskered face at a time.
