BRAVE LIKE YOU BRAVE LIKE ME, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit&nbsp;based in Orem, Utah was established in September 2023. Its mission is to support emotional wellness efforts for local pediatric cancer families, and connect them to critical resources. YOUR DONATIONS TODAY WILL GO TO HELP THESE FAMILIES. HOW YOUR DONATIONS WILL BE USED FOR LOCAL PEDIATRIC CANCER FAMILIES: 1) FAMILY MEETUPS - we currently host two monthly groups for children and caregivers along the Wasatch Front. These groups help families connect and build crucial support networks during and after treatment2) CARE ITEMS FOR PEDIATRIC CANCER KIDDOS AND SIBLINGS - we like to provide thoughtful and motivational care items for children during clinic visits and hospital stays. So far we&#39;ve done intention bracelets, buttons, encouragement cards, worry stones, small building block sets, and fidgets. We&#39;ve also sponsor a little extra Santa&#39;s Box &nbsp;or &quot;loot this tree&quot; (a tree full of squishmallows and other handmade ornaments and gifts) for cancer families finding themselves at the hospital over Christmas.&nbsp;3) WELLNESS EVENTS AND GET TOGETHERS - yoga, breathwork, sound bath, family gatherings, therapist-led workshops, and mini retreats. We are focused on supporting the emotional well-being of caregivers, patients, and siblings! We serve families going through treatment, families that have finished treatment, and angel families.4) SUPPORT ITEMS FOR PARENTS - emotional wellness books, resource guides, calming oils, insulated bags.... items for hospital convenience and to calm the mind during the rollercoaster ride.5) BRAVE JOURNAL PROJECT - a new exciting project launching&nbsp;SPRING 2027 tailored to each member of the family to document their unique journey during treatment. The journal will be a guide, a wellness tool, and a cherished memory.6)&nbsp;RESOURCE DIRECTORY - a constantly updated guide for local pediatric cancer families to connect them to critical resources.
