At Oak Harbor High School Band Boosters, we know that change starts with people like you. Every act of kindness, every dollar, and every moment of your time brings us closer to achieving our mission.

The OHHS band and guard students perform and compete year round. Funds raised supplement what our school/district does not cover; which is about 70%. We support 13 programs (classes & extracurricular). Their performances take many levels of financial support for music licensing, uniforms, instruments/equipment repairs, transportation and more. Your support is how we keep all of this FREE for the students while also being able to offer scholarships to continue their education during and after their time at Oak Harbor High School!

What Funds Go To:

• Entry fees, travel & meals to 2 Marching Band competitions
• Entry fees, travel & meals to 2 Winter Guard competitions 
• Scholarships for summer leadership camps for students to broaden their skills in their craft and leadership
• Scholarships for educational camps for students to expand their creativity and performance levels
• Music licensing fees for teaching and performing (in class and extracurricular)
• Instrument & equipment repairs/replacements throughout the school year
• Transportation (bus) to and from local and off-island performances & competitions
• Show uniforms, props, and equipment for fall & winter competitions
• Annual Awards Banquet including venue, food, senior gifts and awards
• Specialty instructors for further in-depth learning of current and new skills
• Any additional needs the band director has that his class budget will not cover.
