We grow mustaches during the month of November while collecting pledge funds that help local children's non-profits.These include The Children's museum of Wilmington, JDRF, Make-A-Wish, Boys and Girls Clubs, Communities in Schools, The Miracle League, Camp Schreiber, Ocean Cure, Carousel Center, Masonboro.Org and DREAMS.Mustaches for Kids is a national organization founded to benefit children's non-profits through the growth of mustaches. The Wilmington chapter was one of the first and in 21 years we've raised nearly a million dollars for the local causes we support! It's an easy and fun way to do some good; we meet once a week to turn in funds, take progress photos and hydrate ourselves then celebrate the end of the season with the 'Stache Bash gala event.
