Officer Sean Williams has always answered the call to serve—spending decades with Louisville Metro Corrections, working third shift floor security before retiring as a Sergeant in 2018. But even retirement didn’t stop his dedication. In 2022, Sean returned to serve once again, this time with our transportation team.
Today, Sean needs our support.
His home in West Point, KY was completely devastated during the recent flooding—one of the worst in Kentucky's history. With only 18 hours’ notice, Sean and his family had to evacuate. Over 3 feet of water swept through their home, destroying nearly everything. They are now displaced, waiting on insurance, and facing a long road to recovery.
Sean has always been there for this department and our city. Let’s come together to help him and his family through this incredibly difficult time. Any amount you can give will go a long way in helping them rebuild.
No one serves alone—and no one recovers alone either. Let’s show Sean that his LMDC family stands with him.
