🌟 Join us in Creating Change! 🌟This summer, Vanguard Tigray is embarking on a mission of renewal. We plan to turn the page from a chapter of hardship toward a future of self-reliance and dignity for our people. Below is our vision for Summer 2026. 1. Restoring the Foundation of Knowledge: Adi Daero/ዓዲ ዳዕሮ In Adi Daero, the scars of conflict are most visible in the classrooms where the next generation should be dreaming. Many of our schools remain underfunded, with students lacking the most basic tools for success.&nbsp;The Mission:&nbsp;We will lead comprehensive structural repairs to school buildings, ensuring a safe and dignified environment for learning.&nbsp;The Heart of the Project: Beyond the walls, we will provide students with essential backpacks, notebooks, and textbooks. By equipping our children today, we are protecting the Tigray of tomorrow. 2. The Hawzen Canal/ሓውዜን： Agriculture plays a huge role in our rural communities. In Hawzen, we are turning our focus to the Suluh River to ensure that water, which is our most precious resource, reaches the fields that sustain us.&nbsp;The Mission: We are engineering and constructing a modern irrigation canal system to divert water from the Suluh River directly to local farmlands.The Impact: This project will provide year-round food security for hundreds of families, transforming the rugged soil into a flourishing landscape. We believe that no Tigrayan should be at the mercy of the rain.&nbsp; 3. The Mekelle City Revival/መቐለ： Mekelle is the symbol of our resilience. To honor its spirit, we are launching an intensive urban renewal initiative to restore the city&rsquo;s beauty and hygiene.&nbsp;The Mission:&nbsp;Vanguard Tigray is investing in a fleet of electric street sweepers to clean and maintain the city&#39;s thoroughfares sustainably.&nbsp;The Goal:&nbsp;Through organized community &quot;Cleanup Days&quot; and modern technology, we will erase the dust of neglect and restore the pristine, vibrant atmosphere of our streets. A clean city is a proud city, and our people deserve a home that reflects their inner strength. 4. Beyond As Vanguard Tigray grows bigger, we plan to expand our projects even bigger to ensure the development of Tigray in all key factors of society, from the farmers in Dejena to the urban workers in Mekelle, without causing displacement to the people, rapid modernization for tourism, or changing Tigray&#39;s valuable culture that has been in place on the land for thousands of years. We envision a Tigray where every mother never has to suffer, where every father doesn&#39;t get separated from conflict, and where every kid can make their wildest dreams come true, all while keeping the cultural integrity of Tigray.
