A profile for a dog named Chopper features a large portrait and smaller photos of the dog in the foreground, set against a colorful, splattered purple and yellow background.

Each month, we shine a spotlight on one dog who needs a little extra love to find their person: our Dog of the Month. These are often the dogs who’ve been through the most or waited the longest. Your gift covers the vet care, food, training and transport that carry them from survival to the couch they deserve. Because we’re 100% volunteer-run, every dollar goes directly to the dogs.
