🌟 Stand with those who protect us. 🌟 Firefighters and first responders face repeated exposure to hazardous chemicals, carcinogens, and highly stressful and traumatic events. Over time, these exposures have been associated with elevated risks of cancer, respiratory illness, and chronic disease, while cumulative trauma exposure has been linked to increased prevalence of post-traumatic stress and related mental health challenges. Despite growing awareness, significant gaps remain in research, long-term outcome data, and access to care that reflects the realities of the job. PROTECT Frontline Alliance was established to help close those gaps. We serve as a research-informed platform that brings together clinicians, researchers, policymakers, and fire service leaders to:

advance research and evidence generation

elevate lived experience to inform awareness and policy

improve navigation and access to responsible, evidence-informed care

This work is about long-term health, recovery, and protecting the people who protect our communities. How you can support this work:

Donate: Support efforts to expand research, inform policy discussions, and improve access to care for first responders.

Sign the open letter: Add your name to help elevate awareness and support policy conversations focused on firefighter health and long-term care.

Share: Help increase awareness of the long-term health challenges associated with frontline service.

Your support helps ensure that those who serve on the front lines are not left navigating these challenges alone. PROTECT Frontline Alliance is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization. Contributions are not tax-deductible.
